The closeness to all the shopping and the staff were wonderful. Also the location in Ubud which I love. Thank you again for booking this for me. They also gave us an upgrade which was appreciated
There was nothing to I didn't like.
The location is excellent, the bedding is 5 star, clean sheets, mattress fantastic, pillows 5 star
Breakfast with eggs being cooked should be faster rather than having to line up, you should have some cooked - fried, omlettes can be precooked if busy at breakfast time
We thought the staff in the hotel was the best! Very helpful and cheerful, rooms were spacious and bathroom was clean! A good hotel!
If you are scared of monkeys, then this hotel might not be a good option. Monkey Forest is on the other side of the hotel wall and they come and visit the premises, so a monkey around your breakfast table waiting to snatch food or just next to you trying to relax at the pool is normal.
Our room was beautiful and the staff were lovely and I loved how the monkeys came in at dawn.
The uniqueness of this hotel, is the morning entertainment provided by the monkeys which visit from the nearby Monkey Forest. They are not friendly, but its certainly a novelty to see them in action!
No hairdryer, quite basic (albeit large) bathroom facility.
Close to the Monkey Forest and has a nice swimming pool area.
Older hotel and rooms due for refurbishment. Basic breakfast with limited variety. Limited TV reception with only a few viewable channels. The monkeys are quite destructive - was awoken early each morning to the sound of roof tiles smashing as the monkeys knoched them to the ground (this could also be considered a positive for the entertainment value). It must be a constant battle to repair all of the damage.
We are catalan honeymooners that spent some days in Ubud. The pictures from standard rooms are misleading, taken long time ago... In our room, (n. 212) the only good thing was the matress. Forniture is old, the front door could not be locked properly, the bathroom door had no knob, the bath had some rusty, mouldy parts, the toilet flush was not working well. Breakfast was very poor indeed, not much choice and low quality food. Worst in Ubud in four days. Waiters at the dinning room were quite useless, had to ask few times for some cutlery and it was taken to another table. Having monkeys eating your breakfast was sort of funny but stuff should pay more attention to it. Front desk proved several times to be not reliable at all and a bit unrespectful. It took one day to get something against mosquitoes for our room. On the other hand this hotels lacks of any friendly environment policy. Towels were replaced everyday eventhough they had not been used and once the room was cleaned in the morning the lights were not turned off, they were the whole day on.
Clean, cozy with an atmosphere of jungles.
It is located between the market and the monkey forest .. price ia good and so are the facilities
Tje rooms are very romantic and more of a couple honeymoon kind rooms. not good for group of guys or friends
Location next to monkey forest in Ubud and main streets
Clean less of the room extremely poor, bathroom outdated and smelly, towels old, bed sheet yellow...
very good location, nice warm little hotel... monkeys come to your table during breakfast, but the staff were trained to handle the monkeys.. the monkeys were all over the hotel, at the ceiling, near the swimming pool... but monkeys being monkeys, they were just playing around .. we stayed in room 302, no view but overall the room was nice and clean, and nice swimming pool..! Bathroom was too spacious, it had bath tub and a separate shower area, in my opinion no need for such big bathroom...better make it a space for sofa in the room .. very good hotel and worth it when you made reservation from Booked.net
The location in Ubud and the pools
Terrible breakfast, no restaurant. If no group then the only restaurant is closed. Lazy staff No towels at the pool and the towels and sheets are really old and even have holes!
Beautiful and very spacious room n bathroom! Balcony was lovely too. Amazing location with minkey forrest and shopping street straight next to the hotel! Breakfast was very good and the cheeky monkeys experience was awesome! Swimming pool and lobby and wifi were excellent! Great hotel for a very good price
Easy to reach to the famous monkey forest and just a walking distance approximately 5minutes. Close to good restaurant, souvenir shops and market.
Bath room drainage problem and water leakage somewhere.
I loved the location and the monkeys that came everyday!
Lots of stairs, hard for older people! Rooms were great but the linen was old!
